Learn practical sewing skills to give your everyday clothing a better fit!
We’ll guide you through measuring, marking, pinning, pressing, and sewing for a clean finish. You’ll practice assessing the fit, choosing your desired length, and preparing your garment before making permanent changes. Simple alterations will be covered as time and garment construction allow.
What to Bring
Bring a clean pair of pants, a shirt, or a casual skirt that belongs to you and that you can try on during class. Everyday garments such as jeans, T-shirts, and simple skirts are appropriate.

Please do not bring clothing for someone else, wedding dresses, prom dresses, formal gowns, or garments with complicated construction or heavy embellishments. Your instructor will review your garment to confirm it is suitable for the workshop.

Parking is available in the back lot. Our studio is upstairs and accessible by stairs only; there is no elevator. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early and wear closed-toe shoes.
What to bring
All sewing machines, tools, and basic sewing supplies are provided. Project completion will depend on your garment and individual pace.
